I’ve had people reach out to see if I had stopped posting or what was going on. (And some of you may have gotten apportionments with me canceled on short notice and booked out for 6 weeks… I am sorry).
Unfortunately I had an unexpected surgery on December 20th to fix some big issues being caused by adhesions that were formed after my liver donation surgery for Hazel. While this was never something I thought was going to happen it is what it is. It’s also a great lesson. We cannot control what happens to us even if we have the best laid plans (you know I like my plans). I had some things I wanted to start the year off with some changes to my workouts etc but they will just have to wait.
How you view your situation is what dictates what kind of experience you will have. You will often here me say “it is what it is” and I truly mean that. I can’t change it so I’ll always just roll with it. At the end of the day, my family is healthy and happy and I have worked hard to keep myself both as well. And because of that attitude I am starting the year on a good note as well! And honestly even with this slight bump this had nothing on previous years- haha 2016 was ROUGH.
So with that said, now that I still have 4 more weeks of being banned to my chair, expect content to start kicking back up. Maybe this all happened at the perfect time, you can now work alongside me to get this year off to a fresh and healthy start.
Here’s to a healthy and happy 2022! “It is what it is” so make it what you want……..
